• Pat Nichols, CPIW,  celebrated a twenty-year anniversary with the agency. Pat joined Waters Insurance Agency in August, 1989. She has a proven sales record and provides excellent customer service to our personal lines customers. Her knowledge of insurance, friendliness, and efficient manner are greatly valued.  Congratulations, Pat!

• September, 2009  Raymond J. Fanta, AAI, President of Waters Insurance Agency now serves as president of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America – West Virginia. Congratulations on becoming the new West Virginia Big “I” President!

• August, 2009  Waters Insurance Agency supports the United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley. Heather DeBord (Personal Lines CSA) made an important contribution to the 2009-2010 Campaign as her good looking three year old son was featured as cover boy for the campaign.  Malachi is a pre-schooler at the Parkersburg Day Nursery and became a special messenger of their Alliance’s slogan, “Live United”. • August, 2008  John Fanta joined Waters Insurance Agency. John is a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies, emphases in Business Administration, Communications and Entrepreneurship. He is a 2004 graduate of Parkersburg High School. He is a licensed Property and Casualty Agent with the State of West Virginia, a graduate of the Spring 2009 TAPP Producer Training Program sponsored by Westfield Insurance Group, and has earned the CPIA designation (Certified Professional Insurance Agent) conferred by the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society. John is the assistant coach for the Parkersburg High School Golf Team, a member of the Mid-Ohio Valley Ski Club and a volunteer for Jackson County CASA.

• Waters Insurance Agency recently received the 2008-2009 Pacesetter designation from the Motorists Insurance Group. The Pacesetter designation recognizes Waters Insurance Agency’s superior professionalism and profitability. Motorists awards the Pacesetter designation only to those independent insurance agencies in the top tier of its agency force – those who display a commitment to providing policyholders with top quality insurance products and outstanding customer service. Waters Insurance Agency at 700 Ann Street has proudly served the Mid-Ohio Valley for forty-five years.

• Rosa Braham has been appointed by BrickStreet Insurance to serve on the company’s newly formed Specialist Advisory Council. This new council consists of agency client service professionals and company representatives who consult on the BrickStreet Workers’ Compensation product and how it is offered through insurance agencies for the benefit of BrickStreet insureds.

•  Brickstreet Insurance, the company formed by and for the employers of West Virginia for workers’ compensation insurance, has appointed Waters Insurance Agency to their network of independent insurance agencies offering professional evaluation of exposures, employee classifications and claims experience.
